Beschrijving

Een muzikale trip terug in de tijd met klassiekers als 'Light My Fire', 'When The Music's Over', 'Riders On The Storm', 'The End' en veel meer!

De internationale pers is alvast overtuigd:

The Doors Alive: Uncanny, spine-tingling likeness. I can only imagine that it's like stepping back in time and being at the "Whisky a go-go" or the "London Fog" on Sunset Strip during the summer of 1966! Love the Doors? Go and take a trip back in time (or just a trip!) with the Doors Alive!
Marty Miller - Radio Nova 100FM, Dublin

“The Doors Alive headlined our 3rd birthday event, which was attended by around 3000 people. After a full day of bands & beer, expectation was high for The Doors Alive. They didn't disappoint. Even the fact that the heavens opened and it poured down with rain during their set couldn't dampen the crowds' spirits. In fact, it may well have added to 'Riders On The Storm'! I couldn't think of a better way to end the show. Musically the band is spot on, and Willie does the best Jim Morrison impression I've ever seen. I can't wait to see the guys again.”
Dewsbury, 106.1 Rock Radio, Manchester

“The Doors Alive is the closest thing you will get to being in the same room as the real thing. Close your eyes and you will be transported back to 1966 Whisky A Go Go and the sounds that made The Doors one of the most iconic and revered bands 40 years on from the tragic death of Jim Morrison.”
Jon Wing - O2 Academy Group

“Mirroring that which The Doors themselves might have done best, the band's hypnagogic magic was most potent once the wandering jam of Riders of the Storm shuffled its way across the auditorium, though more immediate songs like the bar stool sleaze of Back Door Man and the giddy twinkle of Light My Fire were treated with a similar reverence.”

****
Ray Philip - Edinburgh Evening News

"...the audience screams as the music enraptures the room with perfect ease. The scene is so brilliant and the band so good that everything flies..."
Richard Entwistle - Suit Yourself Magazine

All the classics are being played with incredible accuracy complimented by the swagger and ‘geddup’ of Jim/Willie. Epic renditions of Roadhouse Blues, Five To One and Soul Kitchen hypnotize every man, woman and child within a mile radius.
